Bamidele Olumilua University of Science and Technology Ikere, Ekiti State
The past of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Science and Technology Ikere (BOUESTI) is very long and interesting. The College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti was the first name of BOUESTI. Later, it was turned into an education university and given the new name Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science, and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti.
In just a few short years, BOUESTI has grown and changed a great deal. At first, there was only one faculty at the university. Now, there are six: education, science, social sciences, management sciences, law, and agriculture. BOUESTI also runs a number of learning and study institutes and centres, as well as a School of Postgraduate Studies.
Lagos State University of Science and Technology
There is a lot of background behind Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH). LASUSTECH is a state university in Lagos State, Nigeria, that has been around since 1977 and focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math.
One location is in Isolo, and the other is in Ikorodu. There are six faculties at the university, which offer more than 70 undergraduate and graduate studies. These are Engineering, Science, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, and Education.

Lagos State University of Education
LSUED, or Lagos State University of Education, was Nigeria’s first university of education when it opened in 1994. To help make up for the lack of trained teachers in Lagos State, the goal was to train good teachers.
The school is proud of its long past of excellence and new ideas. As the first school in Nigeria to open a Distance Learning Centre, it was also the first to offer degree programs in Educational Management and Guidance and Counselling.

Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto
School of Education Shehu Shagari Sokoto (SSUES) has a long and interesting past. Established in 2021, it was one of the first schools in Nigeria to train teachers as a university.
Northern Nigeria needed more teachers, so the university was built to fill the gap. It aims to make great teachers, educators, and managers by giving them training before they start working and while they are working. SSUES has classes for both first-year and advanced students in the social sciences, arts, and education.
