Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics and any three (3) of the following subjects: Economics/Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Government, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Typewriting, Shorthand Mathematics, and two (2) of any of Geography, Commerce, Government, Principles of Accounts, and Economic

2. Architectural Technology

Five (5) SSC credits in Mathematics, Physics, English Language, and two (2) SSC credits each in Biology, Fine Art, Chemistry, History, English Language, Geography, Additional Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, Religious Knowledge, Technical Drawing, and Business Method. A “O” Level in technical drawing or fine art will be advantageous.

3. Finance and Banking

Five (5) SSC credit passes are required in Mathematics, English Language (not English literature), and any three (3) of the following subjects: Economics/Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History/Government, Typewriting, Shorthand Mathematics, and any two (2) of Economics, Geography, History, Government, Commerce, or Principles of Accounts.

4. Building Technology

At least a credit pass in English Language is required, along with five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics and Physics, as well as any three (3) of the following: Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing/Fine Art, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Biology, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, and at least one (1) of the following. 6. Civil Engineering Technology

Five (5) SSC credits in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry plus two (2) credits each in Biology or Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, or Woodwork, as well as Additional Mathematics, English Language, Geography, and Economics or Commerce. A passing grade in biology is necessary for industrial safety and environmental engineering and marine engineering. It is necessary to have at least a “O” Level credit pass in English.

It is required to have credit passes in English language and physics at the ‘O’ Level.

9. Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Five (5) credit passes at the “O” Level in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any two (2) of the following subjects: Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech. ), Additional Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics/Commerce. for industrial safety & environmental engineering and marine engineering. Biology at the “O” level is necessary. It is necessary to have at least a “O” Level credit pass in English.
Math, Physics, and Chemistry

10. Estate Administration and Appraisal

Five (5) “O” Level credit passes in government mathematics, English language, a basic science topic, geography, economics/commerce, physics, biology, chemistry, technical drawing, fine art, woodworking, literature, and any two (2) of economics, arts, chemistry, or biology.

11. Clothing technology and fashion design

Four (4) of the following: Fine Art, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Clothing and Textiles, English Literature, English Language, Home Management, and Home Economics/Technical Drawing. It is required to have at least a credit pass in English Language.
Any two (2) of Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Physics, or Mathematics are required.

12. Geological Technology

Five SSC credits in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, as well as two credits in any two of the following: Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Basic Electronics, Further Mathematics, and English Language. It is required to earn a credit in English at the ‘O’ Level.

13. Gardening Technology

Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any two (2) of the following: Biology or Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics or Metal Work for Civil Engineering Technology, Additional Mathematics, English Language, Geography, or Economics or Commerce. for industrial safety & environmental engineering and marine engineering. Biology at the “O” level is necessary. A passing grade in English at the “O” Level is necessary.

14. Hospitality Administration

Any three (3) of the following: Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language, Home Economics, and five (5) SSC credits in Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and any three (3) of the other subjects are also acceptable. English language proficiency and chemistry credit passes are prerequisites for graduation.

15. Leisure and Tourism Management

18. Technology in Mechanical Engineering

One (1) subject each from Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech. ), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics/Commerce, and five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one of the following. pertaining to environmental engineering, industrial safety, and marine engineering. Biology at the “O” level is necessary.

19. Dietetics and Nutrition

Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Health Science, and three (3) credits each from Food and Nutrition, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, Physics, English Language, and Household Management are required for the SSC.

21. Quantity Surveying

Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics and Physics, along with any three (3) of the following subjects, are required. These include Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing/Fine Arts, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Biology, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, and a “O” Level credit pass in English Language. The requirement is a “O” Level pass in technical drawing or art.

22. Technological Science Laboratory

Two (2) each of Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science, Chemistry, and two (2) additional subjects from Technical Drawing, Metal or Wood Work, Basic Electricity, Geography, Further Mathematics, and Fine Arts are required for the SSC. Five (5) SSC credits must also be earned in Mathematics.
