Funded Scholarship for MRes Physics at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland 2023

The University of Strathclyde is providing the Faculty of Science International Scholarships for MRes Physics in Scotland for the academic year 2023-2024.

 International Scholarships of £4,000 can be found to new international students joining the MRes Physics within the 2022/2023 academic year commencing January 2023.

Scholarships shall be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate of their application for admission excellent academic performance (presently and/ or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Scholarships shall be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards could also be allocated early within the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised.

To be considered for a Faculty of Science International Scholarship, candidates should:

Be a new, worldwide fee-paying student holding an offer of admission to a full-time place in MRes Physics within the Faculty of Science commencing January 2023.

Be self-funded. Students who obtain full scholarships, for instance, from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.

• Candidates should meet all of the above eligibility criteria to be considered for a Faculty of Science International Scholarship.
• Candidates who’ve been awarded a scholarship shall be notified within 4 weeks of receiving their offer of admission.
• To obtain their scholarship, awardees should enrol within the January 2023 intake and proceed to meet all of the above eligibility criteria.
• The scholarship shall be awarded towards the cost of a student’s tuition price. It can’t be used for payment of a deposit.
• The worth of each award will be £4,000. Profitable candidates shall be chosen on their academic performance (present and/ or previously gained) and any related extra-curricular or skilled expertise alongside their scholarship application form.
• Scholarship recipients shall be anticipated to engage with student ambassador actions throughout their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment actions and occasions.
• Scholarships shall be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards could also be allocated early within the application cycle.
• The deadline for consideration is 14 December 2022.
• College students are only eligible to carry one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
• The School of Science’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals is not going to be considered.
