INSURANCE

The insurance industry helps individuals and companies reduce losses in potential risks. Students are exposed to totally different concepts and laws in business, finance, economics and so forth, the course has topics cutting across insurance laws, private Insurance and so forth.

They’re also taught about risk management. It’s a 4 year bachelor’s degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities within the insurance industry.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Economics, Mathematics and some other social science subjects in the annual UTME examination.

They’re also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with topics including Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any two other social science subjects.
