Admission Requirements

To gain admission into Kwararafa University, you must meet the following requirements:

Getting in through the UTME

To get into the 100 level, candidates must get five (5) credit passes at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO, or an equivalent exam in relevant courses, not more than twice, and also get a certain number of points on the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

  • All types of students at the university will have to have credit passes in English Language and Math.
  • The University will also do checking after JAMB to make sure that they only let in the best students.

In addition to the general requirements listed above, candidates must also meet standards set by the department.

Getting in through Direct Entry

  • To get into the 200 level, applicants must have five (5) passes at credit level (including English Language) in relevant topics at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE), GCE, NECO, or an exam of the same level, taken no more than twice.
  • Besides these requirements, applicants must also have at least two advanced level passes in the General Certificate of Education exam in relevant topics, an Ordinary National Diploma with credit level, or
  • Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with credit level.
  • Two of the three IJMB/JUPEB classes were passed.

Kwararafa University Hostel Accommodation

Kwararafa University gives its students places to stay in hostels. There are a number of on-campus hostels at the university that can house both male and female students.

There are basic amenities like a bed, mattress, study table, and closet in the hostels. They also have basic amenities like power, water, and security.

The price of staying in a dorm at Kwararafa University may change based on the room type and length of stay. It’s important to remember that staying in a hotel is not required. If students would rather, they can make their own plans to stay somewhere off campus.

Most of the time, students at Kwararafa University have to fill out an application form and pay a fee in order to stay in a dorm. Most of the time, the Student Affairs Department or the Bursary Department handle the application process. The hostel costs between 65,000 and 70,000 naira a season.

If you want to stay in a hotel, you should apply early because rooms are usually limited and given to people who apply first.
