Admission Requirements

To gain admission into Salem University, Lokoja, you must meet the following requirements:

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings in the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level or their equivalents. You must have credits in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects to your desired course of study.

Application Process

The application process begins by applying online through the university’s website or obtaining hard copy application forms from the Admissions Office. You will need to pay an application fee, which covers the cost of processing your application. Submit copies of your academic credentials, including your high school diploma and transcripts, along with your application.

Entrance Examination

All applicants must take the Salem University Entrance Examination. The exam tests your aptitude, language proficiency, and logical reasoning skills. Passing this exam is required for admission, though your scores may also make you eligible for scholarships or placement in the university’s honors program.

Application Process

To apply for admission to Salem University, Lokoja, you will need to submit an application, either online or in hard copy format.
