Edwin Clark University Admission Requirements

To be admitted into Edwin Clark University, you must meet the following requirements:

Educational Requirements

You must have completed secondary school education and obtained either West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. Applicants with higher qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or National Certificate in Education (NCE) may also apply.

Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age as at the time of application or admission. There is no upper age limit. Mature candidates with relevant work experience who do not meet the minimum admission requirements may be considered for admission.

Application Fees

To begin the application process, you must pay a non-refundable fee. The fees can be paid at any branch of the University’s accredited banks or via the school’s online payment portal using an ATM card.

Entrance Examination

All applicants are required to sit for the Edwin Clark University Post- UTME Screening Exercise. Candidates must obtain the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen course of study to qualify for admission. The cut-off marks are determined based on candidates’ scores in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

Interviews

Some candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the admission screening process. The interview is aimed at assessing candidates’ communication skills, interests, and other qualities.

Submit official transcripts

Request official copies of your high school and any college transcripts be sent directly to the Edwin Clark University Admissions Office. Transcripts must be sealed in an official envelope and sent directly from the school that issued them. Unofficial or opened copies will not be accepted.

Submit test scores.

Edwin Clark University requires all applicants to submit scores from college entrance exams like WAEC, NECO or JAMB. Minimum scores for admission vary by program.
