About The School

Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo has a long and rich history. Established in 1977, it was originally called the Federal Advanced Teachers College. The goal was to train special education teachers to help meet the needs of students with disabilities in Nigeria.

In 1986, the name was changed to Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.
