About the Institution

At Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, Ondo State, Nigeria, the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji is a higher education facility that is owned by the federal government. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, a professor, is the vice chancellor at the moment.In 2014, the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, was established. Nigeria cannot thrive without polytechnic education, according to Prof. Emmanuel Fasakin, the departing Rector of the Federal Polytechnic in Ile Oluji, Ondo State.

Fasakin said that polytechnic education was the cornerstone of industrialization and that eliminating it would spell disaster for the nation.

The outgoing Rector said that the polytechnic education would provide the workforce needed in factories when he spoke in Akure at the presentation of his memoir to mark the conclusion of a prosperous two-term stint as the polytechnic’s first rector.

According to Fasakin, Nigeria should not rely on foreign labor to sustain its industry.He claims that ending polytechnic education would be the same as committing suicide.

So, he requested that the Nigerian government create an environment that is favorable and helpful so that Nigerian individuals can work and succeed in their individual academic endeavors.The polytechnic had surpassed its three rival institutions within eight years of the institution’s founding.

Prof. Fasakin has shown great leadership in working with stakeholders to establish it into a distinguished institution of the present. It is obvious that Fasakin has guided the founding principles of the institution

According to the foundation Fasakin set, “The polytechnic will rank among the top three in Nigeria in the future,” he said.

Ajibefun pleaded with the government to grant all power to academic institutions in order to improve outcomes.He claimed that the nation’s educational system had been severely damaged by poor leadership.The event’s chairman, Prof. Adebisi Balogun, added that Fasakin had transformed the polytechnic into a stunning setting for teaching and learning.

Also, The tuition at the Federal Polytechnic in Ile-Oluji is reasonable at less than N50,000. Although we do not currently know if the polytechnic provides housing options for its students, we do know that it offers high-quality facilities to guarantee students have a comfortable environment for learning.

The six (6) Higher National Diploma (HND) programs approved by the NBTE are:

Accounting
Computer Science
Computer Engineering
Electronic systems Engineering (Electronic/Telecommunications Option), and Computer Science are given in that order.

Qualifications for Entrance

A minimum of five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes, including Mathematics and English Language, and three other related subjects at no more than two (2) sittings are required for both HND and ND Programs. Eligible candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 140 in the year 2022/2023 UTME (JAMB) ND (at least Lower Credit with a year of IT program) or a Pass is required for HND candidates (with a two-year IT Programme).
