About the Polytechnic
In 1992, the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, was founded. Then-Military President Ibrahim Babangida made a presidential proclamation for its establishment in the palace of His Royal Highness, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mustapha Olawoore Olanipekun Ariwajoye II, during a state visit in 1991. The school is pleased to have more than 5,000 children under its wing.
The polytechnic was founded in 1992 and provides undergraduate courses leading to the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma.
The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Nigeria, has officially accredited and/or recognized Federal Polytechnic Offa in Kwara State.

The Federal Polytechnic Offa Kwara State is one of the Federal Polytechnics for which applicants wish to die. This has a plausible explanation. As with the Federal Polytechnic of Ede, the tuition is reasonable, the academic year is brief, and national recognition is perhaps most important.
But, if you don’t fulfill the institution’s requirements for JAMB cut-off marks, O’level subjects, and grades, it can be challenging for you to be prioritized on the admissions lists.
It’s actually more evident that the polytechnic has consistently accepted students who scored 150 or higher on the UTME over the years. Also, candidates must have thought of the polytechnic as their top preference college during the UTME process or be prepared to change their minds.
The SSCE subjects needed for each of her certified courses are still a mystery. Furthermore, even if you are aware of the O’level topics you need, you might not be aware of the grades needed in each of those areas.

- A minimum 2022 UTME score of 140 is required for interested candidates.

- Before submitting an application for the 2022/2023 post-UTME form, candidates who have not yet posted their O’level results on the JAMB CAPS should do so.

Prerequisites for Entrance to Federal Poly Offa
Applicants must earn at least a Credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, and any additional three courses that are pertinent to their intended line of study.

The institution offers the following two (2) year full-time programs that culminate to the award of a higher national diploma.

Prerequisites for Federal Poly Offa HND Entrance.
The following are the entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programs:
1. Candidates must hold a recognized/accredited polytechnic, monotechnic, or innovation enterprise institution’s National Diploma (ND), National Innovative Diploma (NID), or equivalent in the program of their choice at not a grade lower than LOWER CREDIT classification.
2. SSC or GCE O’level with no more than two (2) sittings and at least five (5) credit passes in pertinent subjects, including English and mathematics.
3. The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with a pass in a trade and four academic subjects that must include English language and mathematics.
4. Candidates must have at least a year of work experience following their National Diploma Industrial Training.
Nonetheless, if an applicant has at least two (2) years of post-industrial training experience, they can still be considered for admission if they received a passing mark at the ND/NID.
The Office of the Registrar must receive a copy of each applicant’s National Diploma Transcript for the Polytechnic HND Programs who did not receive their ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa.
