PHARMACY
Most times individuals’ ailments are not so serious that they need to see a doctor, more often they just go to a close-by pharmacy to see a pharmacist.
Pharmacy trains students to be pharmacists by teaching them about different drugs and what drugs can be used for various ailments. Similar to pharmacology, students study about the chemical effects of those drugs on humans.
Pharmacy is a 4 year bachelor’s degree program and graduates of this course may have career opportunities such as Pharmacologists, Clinical Pharmacologists, Veterinary pharmacologists, Pharmacists etc.

To be Admitted into Pharmacy, Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the annual UTME examination.
To be Admitted into Pharmacy, they’re also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
