The Federal University of Health Science, Azare (FUHSA), Bauchi State is a Federal government owned institution of learning existing way back as 2006. The institution is committed to building and providing a standard health care education, training and also research. The Federal University of Health Science, Azare, Bauchi State has matriculated 760 number pioneer students in 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic session. It offers range of undergraduate and post graduate courses of health care. Programs offered in FUHSA are designed to meet the needs of the Society in health care industries.The institution is the third health science University to be established by the Federal government in 2018 after the establishment of Federal University of otukpo,Benue state.

FUHSA Admission Requirements

Undergraduate requirements:
- Candidates who meets the requirements are subject to go through screening conducted by the school.
Transferred candidates are not accepted until the school reaches it’s first two years of existence. - Candidate’s admission must come through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
- Applying candidates are expected to must have attained the age of 16 years and above.
- Applicant must have at least 5 credit pass in SSCE examinations from relevant subjects.
- Direct entry candidates must also have not less than 5 credit passes in SSCE and two ‘A’ level pass results including ND with pass.

Post graduates requirements:
In as much as Post UTME candidates are required to possess some items qualifying their enrollment into the undergraduate programs of Federal University of Health Science, Azare, Bauchi, State so also post graduate applicant are required to possess some items and below listed are post graduate requirements:
- Applying candidates must have 5 credit pass in SSCE examinations just as Post UTME candidates.
- Applying candidates must have credit pass in relevant areas.
- Applying candidates must be a graduate from a well known University with good credit.
- Applying candidates must have good credit in first degree course or HND .

FUHSA School Fees
The fees fixed by the Federal University of Health Science, Azare, Bauchi State for 2023/2024 students undergraduate program’s study session at resumption is N351,000 (three hundred and fifty-one thousand naira) This payment should be made after the payment for acceptance. The management advised Students to pay their due fees on time to avoid distraction during school session. The Inter- University transfer form for student is N50,000( fifty thousand naira) while N1,500,000( one million five hundred thousand naira) for foreign students.
