FUTMINNA Admission Requirements

The qualifications indicated below are expected of students who are interested in attending the aforementioned university.

Undergraduate requirements:
Candidates for the UTME in 2022 must receive a minimum score of 160, with the exception of those courses for which a higher cut-off mark has been posted on the university website.
FUTMINNA does not accept more than one sitting of an applicant’s O-level results for admission.
Only select FUTMINNA as your top option on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Exam since the university does not admit students who selected it as their second choice.
To be eligible to enroll in any engineering course, actuarial science, and mathematics, you must pass Further Mathematics.
To be able to study psychology, you must receive a passing grade in biology at O level.
To be eligible for admission to any course at FUTMINNA, you must have passed the math and English language exams.
A minimum of five (5) credits each in English, math, biology or chemistry, and any other science subject besides agricultural science from the ‘O’ Level. Minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in English, mathematics, physics, and any other two science subjects are required for entry.
At the time of application, candidate should be at least 16 years old.

Direct entry:

For the 2023 Direct Entry registration, the Board would only recognize 13 credentials/certificates, including a first degree, a university diploma, a Higher National Diploma, an Ordinary National Diploma/National Diploma, and a Nigeria Certificate in Education.
Candidates for the UTME in 2022 must receive a minimum score of 160, with the exception of those courses for which a higher cut-off mark has been posted on the university website.
A school-based aptitude test is now required of Direct Entry candidates. No longer are they required to take the UTME exams.
Post graduate:
Some postgraduate programs just require a bachelor’s degree, regardless of the field. In others, you will require a degree in the pertinent field, but non-graduates with appropriate work experience may also be accepted.
A student must have obtained five (5) credits in English language and mathematics at no more than two sittings in GCE (O’Level), WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents to be eligible to apply for postgraduate study at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

FUTMINNA School Fees

The Federal University of Technology, Minna now charges N61,200 for new students and N28,200 for returning students in tuition fees. The departmental fees for new students must be confirmed on the school’s official website. The online payment system would also be used for payment.

Acceptance fees:
The Federal University of Technology, Minna’s admittance fee is anticipated to range from N10,000 to N30,000 for the 2023/2024 academic year. Every new 100L student is required to pay this charge, which is not refundable.Students in all schools, both domestic and international, must pay an acceptance fee of N20,000.00.

Post Graduate Fees:
The institution charges an application cost of 10,000 naira (N10,000) and a remittance fee of 250 naira (N250), for a total of 10,250.00 (N10,250.00), which must be paid online through the school portal using the Remita platform and a Master or Verve card.

FUTMINNA Cut Off Mark

A student must receive a score of at least 160 on the recently completed JAMB examination in order to register for the Federal University of Technology Minna POST UTME. This is because the FUTMINNA Jamb cut-off mark for the 2023–2024 academic session is 160.

FUTMINNA Hostels Accommodation

Each student must pay 20,000 Naira for their hostel accommodations.
Both new and returning students may stay in the hostel during the academic year 2023–2024. The administration of the school has the authority to change this, though.
