Kairos Polytechnic Admission Requirements For ND program

The admission requirements for National Diploma (ND) programmed at Mater Dei Polytechnic are as follows:

  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
  • Candidates must have written the current year UTME examination and obtained the prescribed cut-off mark for the polytechnic or have obtained the minimum required score in the polytechnic’s screening exercise.
  • Candidates are required to choose Mater Dei Polytechnic as their first or second choice of institution during JAMB registration.
  • Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 120 in UTME are eligible to apply for ND programmed in the polytechnic.
  • Candidates who did not choose kairos polytechnic as their choice institution in JAMB can still apply for admission into the polytechnic, provided they meet the requirements for admission.
  • Candidates are also required to participate in the polytechnic’s post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.

How To Apply For The Post-UTME

  • Applicants must have completed the UTME and have scored at least 180.
  • The applicants must also have registered on the school’s portal and paid the necessary fees.
  • Applicants must also have obtained the required O’level credits in the subjects listed above.

Kairos Polytechnic Admission Requirements For HND Program

  • Candidates must have completed a National Diploma (ND) programmed from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant field of study.
  • Candidates must have completed a mandatory one-year industrial training (IT) programmed after obtaining the ND certificate.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
  • Candidates must have written the current year UTME examination and obtained the prescribed cut-off mark for the polytechnic or have obtained the minimum required score in the polytechnic’s screening exercise.
  • Candidates are required to choose Mater Dei Polytechnic as their first or second choice of institution during JAMB registration.
  • Candidates are also required to participate in the polytechnic’s post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.
  • Other requirements may include evidence of birth certificate, academic transcripts, and other relevant documents as may be specified by the institution.
  • Candidates must have graduated from an accredited institution’s National Diploma (ND) program with a grade of Lower Credit or above in order to be considered for admission into above National Diploma (HND) programs.
