Citizenship and Residency

You must be a Nigerian citizen or permanent resident currently living in Nigeria.

Academic Status

You must be either:

A senior secondary school student who will receive their WAEC, NECO or equivalent secondary school leaving certificate in 2023 and will enroll in a Nigerian university in 2023.
A university student who will continue their undergraduate degree at an accredited Nigerian university in 2023. Areas of study include but are not limited to: engineering, geosciences, petroleum engineering and related disciplines.

Academic Merit

You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Strong candidates will demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential for success in their field of study.

Financial Need

While financial need is not the only consideration, preference may be given to students who demonstrate significant financial need. Applicants must provide information on their personal and family income and assets.
