AKUTECH was established by the Akwa Ibom State Government in 2010, with the aim of providing quality education in science, technology, and engineering. AKUTECH Admission Requirements
AKUTECH offers admission to candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the chosen program of study. To be eligible for admission into the university:
- Candidates must have a minimum of five O’level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates applying for direct entry admission must have a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) program.
In addition to the above requirements, candidates must also meet the cutoff mark set by the university for the chosen program of study. The cutoff mark varies depending on the program, and it is usually announced by the university before the commencement of the admission process. Candidates are also required to register and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
